| Fishing
is done in early season from early June to end of
June, but still can be captured until the end of
September both in the lake and in the rivers before
sponding. Fishing can be done with light casting
equipment as well as fly-fishing.
The average size for the 1999 season was 3.2 lbs.
Record at the Camp is 8.5 lbs caught in 1998 &
7 lbs in year 2000. |
| This fish is the most abundant fish in the lake and can be fished from mid- June through the end of the season by casting in early season and trolling during mid summer and late season. We recommend the use of deep water fishing equipment from July and August. Late August and September offer some exciting fishing for this fish. Some customers have successfully fished for these lakers with fly rods in early season. A 28.5 lbs was caught in the 2000 season. |
| They are fished in shallow bays ( 5 to 12 feet of water ) around the camp and caught as of mid-June through August. Anglers woll fish mostly with jigging equipment for this tasty fish. Walleyes will average 3 lbs. Exceptional sized walleyes are uncommon but the sheer number of these fishes will compensate for their lack in size. |
They are fished from early season to late season along with the schools of Walleye. They are fished with casting equipment as well as fly rods. This fish is found throughout the lake, and sizes are commonly caught in excess of 30 lbs (50 inches) annually.
