Osprey's 5 camps are located on an island (and as result, sheltered from insects) in the middle of Mistassini Lake.(near the 51st parallel). The territory, covering an area of2,336 square kilometers of rugged shore offers unparalleled fishing opportunities. Our guests have access to a territory reserved exclusively for outfitters, meaning that you encounter few other anglers in active pursuit of the dream catch by allowing the fisherman access to waters beyound the 51st parallel, which is territory reserved solely for native use.
The expanse of the lake offer exceptional fishing of speckled and lake trout; the shallow bays and their tributaries are a fisherman's havens for pike and walleye. The camp comprises 5 log cabins that can accomodate 4 persons, two bedrooms with 2 single beds each.

| Every cabin is equipped with a propane powered stove, refrigerator, lighting and running water, as well as kitchenware for preparing and serving meals. A common toilet/shower facility as well as an area for cleaning and storing daily catches is also made available to our visitors. |

For peace in mind and the safety of our guests, qualified personnel will be on site at all times. Moreover, native attractions, architectural as well as cultural sites are on display on our grounds and made accessible to our visitors, that include among others: tasting wild game in a teepee or in our dinning room, lakeside lunch prepared by our guides, and observation of the natural beauty of our lands, flora and geology.
Our guests customarily make their way to Mistissini where they are greeted by our representative for their departure by hydroplane. It is also possible for us to meet you in Montreal and to transit by plane to Chibougamau and then procced to Mistissini by shuttle or private plane.
